What we design
Anamorphic art that looks 3D from one spot — and flat from everywhere else. That is the point.
A piece that works is calculated for the wall size, the floor depth and the camera position. A 3D-looking picture simply resized to fit the wall does not work in a photo. The difference is geometry, not artistic skill — and it is the part most people get wrong.
What you receive
Print-ready artwork (PDF/TIFF, 150–300 dpi at full size, CMYK or RGB as your printer requires)
Files tiled to your panel or sheet sizes
Installation guide: panel layout, alignment marks, camera-point position and height, recommended viewing distance
A photo-spot marker file (floor sticker or sign) so visitors know where to stand
One round of print-proof check: send us a photo of the test print and we confirm alignment
What is not included
Printing, materials and installation (done by your local printer and installer; we provide the specs)
On-site attendance
Licensing of third-party characters, logos or photos (you supply rights-cleared material, or we design original artwork)
Formats
Wall only — backdrop panels, pillars, shutters
Floor only — entrance halls, event floors
Wall + floor — the most popular format for photo spots: a 2.4 m × 2.4 m wall with 1.0–1.1 m of floor fits 2–3 people in frame
Freestanding — foldable panels for trade-show booths and pop-ups

Pricing
Standard wall piece (2.4 m × 2.4 m): from US$2,000
Wall + floor (2.4 m × 2.4 m wall + 2.4 m × 1.1 m floor): from US$3,000
Larger spaces, multiple pieces, freestanding units: quoted individually
Concept-only (two rough concepts, no final files): US$700, credited toward the full project if you proceed
Price depends on size, complexity and whether you supply source material. Doubling the size does not double the price.
FAQ
Can we use our own characters, logos or photos?
Yes, if you hold the rights. Because the artwork is distorted for the illusion, character licensors sometimes object; please check with them first. If you have no material, we design original artwork.
Can the same artwork be used in another location?
The license covers one installation at one location. Re-use at the same location without changes is possible for a reduced fee. A different size or location needs a new design, because the geometry changes.
What files do we need to send?
Wall and floor dimensions, a photo of the space, and if possible a floor plan. For panels or display units, the manufacturer's spec sheet.
Will it look right when printed?
Yes, if the dimensions are accurate and the camera point is where we specified. We include a print-proof check: photograph the test print from the marked spot and we confirm before the full run.
What materials should we print on?
Any large-format printer can handle our files. For walls: adhesive vinyl or printed panels. For floors: anti-slip floor graphics rated for foot traffic. Your printer will know the local options and fire-safety ratings. We note the requirements in the guide; choosing and certifying the material is the printer's and venue's responsibility.
Do you install?
No. We design; your local sign company installs. The guide is written for them. Most installations take a few hours.
How do we pay?
Invoice in US dollars. 50% at start, 50% before final files are released. Card or bank transfer.
Is a video call needed?
No. We work in writing: email, shared files and annotated PDFs. It keeps a clear record and works across time zones. If you prefer a call, we can arrange one with screen sharing.
Where are you?
Nagoya, Japan. We reply within one business day, Japan time.
